like a weightlifter
on the beach.
silver and black.
they look like hawks
and strange
bat like
planes from another world.
it's amazing
as they twist and turn,
dip and disappear
into the clouds
with a plume of smoke.
if i was
a country i'd surrender
immediately.
it would be
the shortest war
ever.
