that the church next door opens
up a fire hydrant
for the kids
to run under.
Father Smith says that it's
Holy Water
fresh from the Vatican,
but he tends to fib
a little
at times. i often see him
crossing his finger
and winking when
he tells a lie.
but it does seem to be making
some of the little
demon kids,
screech and cry.
