in a strange way,
i wish there were werewolves
and vampires.
i wish
there were aliens from
another planet.
how interesting the world
would be
with big foot
and the loch ness monster,
Frankenstein.
a scary creature beneath
the bed
would liven things up.
a time machine would be fun too.
we need
a break from the news.
when i see a black bat
in the air
at dusk, i can only hope
it's coming my way.
