i visit the graveyard

are buried.

Washington, Adams,

Madison

and Monroe,

Jefferson.

creators of the Declaration

of Independence,

the Constitution.

the Bill of Rights.

the dirt is all overturned

as if plowed,

not a blade of grass

has grown.

they've all been rolling

over a lot lately.
