survive being on an island,
alone.
away from
the madness of this world.
cut off from
everyone and everything.
would the coconut
trees
be enough, the fish
in the ocean,
the bananas and fruit
that grow
everywhere,
will the land provide
enough nourishment
before you are rescued.
will you signal
the ships at sea, or the
plane
that circles above
for help.
or will you hide from
them
behind the rocks
and enjoy life, being
free.
