don't quit your day job

you can be whatever

you want to be, your parents

tell to you with a smile.

it's not the first lie they've told

you,

there was the Santa Claus

thing,

the Easter Bunny,

and the tooth fairy before that,

but this is a bigger

lie than those.

you learn quickly that you're

not the smartest kid in

the room,

the fastest or the strongest,

you're not the best looking.

in fact you're average like most

of the world and at some point

when you try to succeed

beyond your means someone

will say to you,

don't quit your day job.
