sermon.
no one wants the leftovers,
the discarded,
or used things at the flea
market
sold on the corner
for a dollar.
no one wants to read
the boring book,
the newspaper,
or to watch a bad movie.
no one wants the light
kiss on the cheek
and pat on
the back farewell.
nobody wants
lukewarm love.
we want more, not less.
we want the real thing.
the honest
thing.
