it's easier
to like our own child
than it is
to appreciate
another's
little boy or girl,
same goes for a cat
or dog.
if it's not ours,
our affection is not quite
the same.
so that's why i put
in the invitation,
just you
and maybe plus one,
in case you decide
to attend.
