tired,
i was of taking the temperature
in the room,
my feet
always
walking gently
upon
the eggshells, tired
of choosing
words
carefully so as not to
be misunderstood,
constantly keeping
the waters
calm and still.
tired of it all, i packed
my duffle bag
and set sail.
