the circle

is life a circle?

I hope not.
I really don't want to start all
over again
and end up

where I was a year ago.

i'd prefer
a different shape or form.

not a square, or rectangle,
or triangle.

something open ended perhaps.

a straight line
would do it, or a graph

showing the ups and downs,
with no ending

as zigs and zags about.
