does our biography
become our
biology.
are sins and transgressions
obvious
in how we look?
the lines
on our faces, the sag
in our
posture,
the brittleness of
hair
or lack thereof.
the circles under our eyes,
is that worry
and guilt
in our gaze,
or genetics?
are who we are inside
eventually
shown to the world on
the outside?
do we begin to pay for
our sins
before leaving this earth.
does the mirror lie?
