what else do they know

the telemarketers were up
late last
night.
calling me from Nigeria,
or the Ukraine.
Ohio?
i'm half asleep when
they ask me if I need
any medication, or
health insurance, or
have any sore muscles
that need relief.
anxiety pills? spiritual advice?
apparently they have
my age, my number
and current state of life.
i'm in the range of people
that need these things.
what else do they know,
that's what I want to know.
