the horse someone gave me for
Christmas
last year.
actually a pony.
it's in the back yard
that i filled with oats and hay.
i haven't
bought a saddle yet,
but soon.
i talk to it from the window
sometimes,
but haven't yet
decided on a name.
i should take it for a walk
at some point.
or just open
the gate,
and let it go on it's way.
perhaps it's time
to regift.
