flip flops.
t-shirts and sweat shirts.

loose fitting,
baggy

clothes that we swim in.
we are lazy,

unshowered unkempt,

disheveled.
in fashion and in thought.

not a book in hand,
just a phone, texting.

the world
is not coming to an end

as we know,
but it feels that way
at times.
