setting the clocks

is there a clock in the house
with the right time.

none that I see.

batteries have weakened,
the power has gone
out.

so many are blinking, stuck
on the midnight hour.

i'll wait until we spring
forward
again,

that will take care of a few.

but do I really need any
of them.

I have windows
with a view. the sun and moon,
the clocks

of my youth.
