most dogs have a personality.

and athletic,

jovial and bright.

obedient.

even stubborn,

or mean,

but Wiggly had none.

Wiggly

was the middle aged man

sitting at the bar

alone,

with an unlit cigar

in hand.

his coat and hat still on

during

the cheese sandwich

and beer,

not watching the tv,

or others,

but staring

thoughtlessly into

the future, without

a plan.

Wiggly was like that too.

he was neither here,

nor there.
