how smart and funny,
a step ahead.
i see her standing with her
luggage
at the airport.
thumb out as i pull up.
a smile as wide as
wednesday
on her pretty face,
pushing her skirt
up just above her knee
to tease me.
three days
of fun, until duty calls
again.
