anymore.
i used to fidget
and stare at
my watch,
tapping my fingers
or foot,
grumbling about the late
arrival of a train
or bus,
or dinner mate.
no more with that.
i sit patiently now.
perfectly content with
where i am.
i sit and peruse
the menu. observe what
others are doing.
i'm strangely content
these days
when i have to wait.
