maybe i'll get up

i should get dressed.

i should take a shower first

or maybe

do some bills.

or maybe make a cup

of coffee,

or maybe just lie here

in bed

for a little while

longer staring at the ceiling.

maybe i'll just

lean over

and look out the window

for some unknown

reason

and then get up. maybe.

what about this

book, i'm reading? but

it's way over there on the other

nightstand.

i can't reach it.

if someone was here they

could hand it to me,

but no one's here.

okay. ten more minutes, 

then i'm up, really up.
