to care about the price eggs,
milk and bread,
gas,
but those days
are over.
i've moved on to other
things
to worry about,
things
beyond credit cards
or cash,
or having work.
i'm wondering now
if it will
be cold out,
will it rain
before i get my walk in?
will i be home
in time
to take my nap.
