the big blue truck
pull up
into the cul de sac,
he's carrying
packages
to nearly every door,
large and small.
i get excited,
what
new thing have i ordered,
i wish i could
remember,
it was so long ago,
perhaps
three hours
have passed by since
i pressed
the button.
