i like the way things used to be

i like

indoor plumbing.

electricity.

i like

grocery stores

and 

cars.

i like this capitalistic

society.

the dog eat

dog

nature of it all.

the survival of the fittest.

i like

to work

and have money.

a house.

a yard,

a small dog with a long

white fence

to keep him from being

run over

by a car.

i like going out to dinner,

to the movies,

or taking

a walk in the park

without someone robbing me.

i'm guilty as

charged

i like the country the

way it is,

or rather

the way it used to be

before i was born.
