their turn to be dumb

it's part

of growing up, learning,

so let

them have

their crazy socialist ideas,

their

inclinations

of empathetic endeavors,

erasing

borders,

saving lost causes,

imagining

that money falls off of trees.

it's their turn to be young

and dumb.

it won't last long.

at some

point

they'll have to get jobs,

they'll get married

and have

children,

there might even be a

lawn

to cut.

they'll be sitting in 

hospital waiting rooms.

it will take time, but

their turn

will come.
