fraud

seems to be woven into

the fabric

of our society.

it's always been this way.

it has nothing

to do with religion,

or ethnicity

or the color

of your skin.

i can't answer my phone

without

someone trying

to scam

me out of money.

every street corner has

someone with

a sign

and pot,

begging.

they're playing violins

and singing.

holding up their chubby

children.

the pickpockets are

everywhere,

from London,

to Times Square.

welfare and childcare.

while the government seems

to be blind

to it all.

why work anymore when

Uncle Scam

will feed you from

the moment

you were born.
