is not what it used to be.
there's no
flying cars,
yet.
no time travel,
no Rosie the robot
doing the dishes
and making our beds.
no hotels
on the moon,
or people
on Mars.
no peace
in the Middle East,
or cure
for cancer,
nothing
they told us when we
were kids
has actually happened yet.
but they're close,
very close,
and it's scary.
