the devil
is alive and well.
the instigator,
the agitator,
the angry
and destructive
force that roams
the earth
in bitter souls.
in mob
chaos.
his demons
are legion.
just listen to the screams
out on the street.
to the banging of pots
and pans,
the shrieks of whistles,
throwing their bodies
onto the road.
the devil is alive
and well.
just look into their eyes,
into
the darkness of their souls.
it's a glimpse
of hell.
