how they must endure

of the governor, the senator,
the mayor
dancing and speaking
in Somalian.
dopes,
all dopes
and deranged.
and the normals,
the citizens who pay
their taxes,
cut their grass and send
their kids
to school with a kiss,
look out their windows
and cry.
what happened to this place?
who are these
crazy people.
why did another country
dump
all of these criminals on us?
maybe six more
feet of snow
would help.
