to see people working
with their
hands,
their
bodies.
i like to see the sweat
on their
brow.
the concentration
of doing
one thing well, over
and over.
it's a saving grace,
the hard
job,
the job no one else wants.
there's serenity
in hard work,
and then
the simple joy
of the weekend
before it starts again.
