what i'm looking under
the table,
in the darkness,
the shadows.
i'm on my hands and knees
as i often
am
when wanting something
or someone
to give
me what i want,
what i desperately need.
i flounder in
the dark until my hand
touches
what it is
that was lost for so long,
that all important
key.
