indecisive napping

it's too early

for a nap, but i try one just

the same.

i get the pillow

for the couch,

the blanket.

i turn the phone off

and lie down.

but i got nothing. 

i just lie there and toss

about.

left then right,

i stare at the ceiling

for a while.

i flip through the pages

of a book,

still not sleepy, so then

i reminisce about my

life which takes me down

a road i don't want

to think about.

i give up

and go for a walk.

maybe later
