talking
about, they use more
words
than they
need to.
they clutter up their
talk
with nonsense,
going around in a circle,
deflecting
to hide their ignorance,
repeating lines they've
memorized,
until everyone
forgets what
the question was
and then weary,
they move on
amidst her laughter.

is over.
