in the ozone.

we're all

meteorologists

now

with our doppler radar,

our maps

and 

software,

our el Ninos

and long distant forecasts

predicated

on what's come before.

we have

data now.

graphs of trends.

we have temperatures

and barometric

pressures,

we have it seven days a week,

hourly,

by the minute.

and still it's all just talk,

there's nothing that can be

done about it

just as before.
