something for the ride home

i'm hunting

and gathering at the local

Kroger's store.

i have my

basket, my list, my

coupons.

i'm perusing apples

and oranges,

artichokes

and green peppers,

chips

and dips.

i put a rotisserie chicken

in the cart.

a head of lettuce,

a bottle of wine

and a box

of pop tarts.

but i need something

for the ride home

before

dinner starts.

ah yes, there it is,

with almonds,

a Hershey bar.
