it's Friday,

so of course we argue.

it's been a long

week,

we're both tired and hungry.

it's a good fight.

the same old

quarrel,

over old ground,

which will put us in

separate rooms

for the night.

but maybe by Sunday

we'll be back

to normal,

and pretending to be nice.
