the screen gently.
i'm not angry or disappointed
i understand
the slow
buffering.
the gradual
warm up
of machine and man.
the power went out in the middle
of the night.
nearly
all the clocks are wrong,
even the one
inside of me.
lights were left on.
the television too.
this will take some time
to wake up.
but i have time.
that i have plenty
of, at least this morning.
