and smoking pipes.

the ivy league

set.

poets and writers, philosophers.

they have well crafted signs

asking

for food,

and saying things like,

will work

for money,

or crypto currency, God bless.

they've attached copies

of their college degrees

to the cardboard

lids they carry.

PhD's, master degrees,

bachelor of arts degrees,

philosophy

and theology. calligraphy,

gender studies, etc.

their poems and essays,

and half

written novels

are held to their chests.

the handwriting and spelling

are excellent.

and most are in fine

linen dresses,

tweed jackets

and vests.
