do we need
to touch and feel,
kick the tires,
slam
the lids
and doors?
do we need to feel
the fabric,
try on the shoe
anymore?
we have become
a lazy bunch of
scrolling monkeys,
one site,
one screen to the other.
swinging
on the branches
of consumerism,
day and night.
why leave the house
anymore.
even love, or something
resembling love
is just a click away,
when you're
bored.
