see it,
sense it in the air
when
you observe two people
out to dinner.
married,
or in a relationship
together.
will it survive,
will it
go anywhere, or is
the beginning
of an end of sorts.
do they talk, do they look
at each other
in the eyes,
do they reach across
the table
and hold hands
for a while.
setting their phones aside.
are they in love, or
like,
or is this it just for
tonight?
