my imagination
took hold and carried the day.
I wanted
so badly
to believe what I was told.
for awhile i suspended disbelief,
nothing was
going to stand in my way.
if it's too good to be true...
well
you know the rest.
trust your gut, your instincts,
don't let them
fool you,
they are actors at best.
if they lie to you once,
there's at least a thousand
more that you don't know about.
that's a fact,
not a guess.
