during the Presidential
State of the Union
address, reminds me a lot of the house
i grew up in.
no one
was happy with
what was for dinner, there was
a lot of screaming and yelling,
arguing,
walking out
and the slamming of doors.
unhappy
children
who weren't getting their
way, with
tears in their eyes
they were sent to bed with
no dessert
or tv,
the adults were now in charge.
