in touch
with childhood friends,
school
year chums,
with phone calls
and yearly
gatherings
to reminisce.
whereas men
seem not to care, letting
bye gones
be by
gones.
letting each pal slip
away
into the night.
staying in touch
seems oddly
strange.
seems weird.
