i'd

like to visit,

but only if i could be

back home

the same day.

the Great Wall of China,

for instance,

to take it all in,

to stroll along the ancient

bricks.

to observe

the enormity of it all.

how nice that would be

and then

to be

home promptly,

at the sofa,

as the clock strikes

three,

for afternoon cakes 

and tea.
