i wait for the pot to boil
and then
for the
ground
coffee to absorb
the water
poured,
i lie down on the kitchen
floor
and do
a few pushups,
sit ups,
some stretching.
i tap my belly
like a small melon,
ripened
over time,
then pinch
the sides.
i use the sink and the dishwasher
door,
to rise.
