girl.
she liked linen and lace,
candles
with fragrance,
vanilla
and clove, cinnamon,
lilac,
and lavender.
each room
had a scent
of flowers in the air,
but they made my nose
itch,
they made
me sneeze
and scratch, break out
into hives.
so i blew them out.
sadly this love, like
so many others,
didn't last.
