into the book, i come across
several
pages
stuck to each other
by some
spill
of a drink,
or rain
storm leaking in.
i can't separate them
without
tearing
them apart. it's where
the meat of
the story
unfolds, the denouement,
but
i move on.
i skip ahead.
i forgive
and forget. the movie
comes out
tomorrow.
