and drugs,
strippers and gold bars
in their closets.

who keeps the trains
running on time?
it appears that no one
is truly accountable
anymore.
there they go,
collecting money, collecting
votes, for another
free ride and term.
stealing from the rich,
but not giving back to the poor.
