too hard to be friends

when

young we accept the dopey

friends.

the loud,

the obnoxious, the dumb

the know it alls,

the liars

and losers,

we bend. we're young

too.

we have room in our

lives

for them.

but as time goes on,

you distance

yourself.

you lose their numbers,

you lose touch.

you no longer make

room,

it's too hard

to be friends.
