is falling so fast and hard
that it
fills my
footsteps before
i can even look back.
i'll be lost for sure
in these woods.
the dark stones of trees.
i'll freeze to death.
no one knows i'm out here.
no one knows
that i've left.
but i press on just
the same.
i'm half way in, half way
out,
again.
