turned
is not so easy, the sting
remains
long after
the strike by an angry
hand, or word.
and yet
we try.
we read a line
that says it's the thing
to do.
to love those who
hurt you,
to forgive,
to be God to some
degree. at times i try
and yet,
at other times
i don't have it
in me.
