we each have
a hammer of some sort
that we
take to the nail, the problem
at hand.
some use anger.
some
use brains and others
fake
love or altruism
to get past
the pain.
some use humor
or lies,
or drugs or drink,
even sex
can be a sledge
hammer of sorts.
the day is full of nails
that want to be
driven
back down.
